Rattler of the Week
Nathanael Monroe
The Idaho Rattler for this week is Nathanael Monroe. Nathanael is a new wrestler this year and excited to be learning all about wrestling here at Idaho Rattlers. Nathanael participated in his first tournament at Bronco Nationals on November 4 at Kuna High School. He said that tournaments are his favorite part of wrestling. His family had never attended a wrestling tournament before and mom says that watching him compete was a very hard thing to do. I think most moms would agree! Nathanael is in the 5th grade and participates in the K-Kids leadership program at his school. His favorite subject is math. Besides wrestling he loves video gaming, working with Legos and hanging with friends.
Nathanael is a perfect example of an Idaho Rattler because he while he did not have his hand raised at the end of his matches, he never gave up and had a great attitude. Nathanael says “Even though I lost, I learned a lot”. And that kind of attitude makes Nathanael a winner every time!
